In July 2022 we presented the all-new Amazing Adventures 5E Bundle featuring the current (2020) edition of Amazing Adventures, the Troll Lord Games multi-genre RPG based on the D&D Fifth Edition rules.

The Amazing Adventures first edition rulebook (2018) (part of our May 2016 Pulp Adventure Bundle) focused on 1930s action using Troll Lord’s SIEGE Engine house system, the basis of Castles & Crusades. This new 2020 edition, completely compatible with D&D Fifth Edition, comes from Troll Lord staff writer Jason Vey (Night Shift), whose Twitter bio reads “That #TTRPG designer with decades of solid sales and successful games who you’ve still never heard of.”

Now equipped for modern or futuristic scenarios in many genres, Amazing Adventures 5E lets you run anything from 1930s pulp adventure to modern urban fantasy, cyberpunk corporate raiding to space opera. New character classes include Arcanist, Gadgeteer, Gumshoe, Hallowed, Hooligan, Mentalist, Occultist, Pugilist, Raider, and Socialite. AA5E adds new systems for vehicle combat, firearms (two sets of rules to suit your taste for complexity), cinematic unarmed slugfests, psionics, modern toolkits and adventuring packs, science fiction weapons, and a bestiary of creatures mundane, supernatural, and alien. This 5E rulebook is a toolkit to build any style of play you like.

There were four titles in our Starter Collection (retail value $41) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks, including the complete Amazing Adventures 5E core rulebook (plus its Character Journal), the campaign sourcebook The Brotherhood of William St. John, and the location sandbox Ruins of Ends Meet.

Those who paid more than the threshold (average) price also got our entire Bonus Collection with four more titles worth an additional $34, including Rise of the Red God and its sequel Rings of the Red God; the Deeper Dark Trilogy; and Day of the Worm.

Ten percent of each payment (after gateway fees) went to this Amazing Adventures offer’s pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief sends protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
