Not much time left for the first two here:

  • Zzarchov’s Adventure Omnibus Volume 2 is a modest Kickstarter campaign to fund a print-on-demand omnibus of ten adventures for Neoclassical Geek Revival, the Old-School RPG we presented in April 2019. For this new collection, designer Zzarchov Kowolski has updated many of his well-regarded scenarios such as Thulian Echoes and Scenic Dunnsmouth.
  • Trilemma Adventures: The Servants of Memory is a bestiary of 110 monsters for the Year Zero Engine by Michael Prescott, designer of the Trilemma Adventures Compendium featured in our Old School Gold offer in July 2020. Drawn from the Compendium, these monsters — beasts of the wood, alien aberrations, people of the underworld, celestial horrors, demonic incursions, and ghostly remnants of ages past — are usable with any Old-School game.
  • Gallant Knight’s Kickstarter campaign for For Coin & Blood Second Edition has just launched. We presented the first edition in Old School Gold. It’s “a classically-inspired fantasy roleplaying game that takes the direction of playing the scum and villains you normally fight in most fantasy campaigns — assassins, cult leaders, blackguards and more.”
  • Five Torches Deep: Origins is Ben Dutter’s fourth supplement for Five Torches Deep, the fine Old-School game featured in our November 2019 Indie Cornucopia 7. Origins is a concise rules expansion with expanded character creation options, new ancestries and lineages, a lifepath generator, and three new classes. Your PC can have three arms, absorb energy from the sun, breathe underwater, swap through parasitic hosts, and more.

  • Old-School Essentials: Advanced Fantasy is a big expansion for Necrotic Gnome’s Old-School Essentials, presented in our very popular February 2020 Necrotic Gnome Bundle. The original OSE is based on the 1981 B/X rules; Advanced Fantasy adds options, monsters, and magic with the esoteric flavor of AD&D 1E: “assassins, poisons, drow, half-orcs, mimics, xorns, vorpal swords, ioun stones — even the dreaded tarrasque!”
  • This one doesn’t involve Bundle of Holding contributors, but check out Jay Dragon’s Wanderhome, “about traveling animal-folk, the world they inhabit, and the way the seasons change. It is a game filled with grassy fields, mossy shrines, herds of chubby bumblebees, opossums in sundresses, salamanders with suspenders, starry night skies, and the most beautiful sunsets you can imagine.” Wanderhome, a peaceful pastoral RPG with rules inspired by Avery Alder’s Dream Askew/Dream Apart, has grossed (at this writing) US$243,000 from more than 5,200 backers.
  • Speaking of Dream Askew, Jack Harrison of Mousehole Press has adapted the system for Orbital, a small zine-sized RPG where you build a space station, full of threats and conflict, and then play to find out whether your crew can hold it together.
  • Alice is Missing isn’t crowdfunding — it’s already published — but we want to call out this inventive and suspenseful RPG from Hunters Entertainment (Kids on Bikes in our November 2019 Indie Cornucopia 7). Alice is Missing is a single-session RPG where players communicate only through text messages as they investigate the disappearance of Alice Briarwood, a high-school junior in the small town of Silent Falls. “Haunting beautiful, deeply personal, and highly innovative, Alice is Missing puts a strong focus on the emotional engagement between players, immersing them in a tense, dramatic mystery that unfolds organically through the text messages they send to one another.”
