In July 2022 we presented the all-new Eclipse Phase 2E Bundle featuring the 2019 Second Edition of Eclipse Phase, the game of transhuman survival from Posthuman Studios. After losing Earth in a war with AIs, transhumanity disperses throughout the Solar System and beyond, struggling to survive. In a typical Eclipse Phase game, characters belong to Firewall, a secret cross-faction organization that protects transhumanity from biowar plagues, self-replicating nanoswarms, nuclear proliferation, terrorists with WMDs, net-breaking computer attacks, rogue AIs, alien encounters, and anything else that could drive an already decimated transhumanity to extinction. Alternate campaigns involve “gatecrashing” – traversing the mysterious Pandora gates to explore extrasolar worlds – or navigating the treacherous terrain of high-tech criminal cartels.

Funded in an April 2017 Kickstarter campaign, Eclipse Phase Second Edition improves the game with faster character creation, streamlined “resleeving” (body switching), new skill and gear systems, updated combat and hacking rules, and four sample teams for Firewall, gatecrashing, and criminal ops. Most First Edition source material is compatible with the 2019 Second Edition, including sourcebooks such as Sunward, Rimward, Gatecrashing, Panopticon, Firewall, Zone Stalkers, Argonauts, and The Stars our Destination – all presented in our June 2014 and June 2018 offers of Eclipse Phase First Edition.

This new Eclipse Phase 2E Bundle included everything you need for Firewall, gatecrashing, or criminal ops adventures across the Solar System and beyond. There were eight titles in our Eclipse Collection (retail value $54) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks, including the complete Eclipse Phase 2E corebook, plus the free QuickStart Rules, Rules Primer, and Character Pack; three Second Edition adventures — Router Case Files, Xenovore, and Overrun; and four two-page “Nano Ops” mini-scenarios: All That Glitters. Better on the Inside, Body Count, and Grinder.

Ten percent of each payment (after gateway fees) went to this Eclipse Phase 2E offer’s pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief sends protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
