In November 2022 we presented the all-new Shadowrun 1E/2E Megabundle, featuring the First (1989) and Second (1992) Editions of the cyberpunk-fantasy SFRPG Shadowrun from Catalyst Game Labs. The year is 2050. Magic has returned, and creatures of myth and legend walk among us as megacorps bleed the world dry. You’re a shadowrunner – a deniable asset, a corporate pawn – using bleeding-edge science and magic to make your meat body and mind better-than-flesh. Stay on the edge, and you may survive another run on the mean sprawl streets.

Originally published by FASA Corporation, these are the early rulebooks, supplements, and sourcebooks that made Shadowrun a smash hit from the start – titles like Sprawl Sites, the Street Samurai Catalog, Shadowbeat, the Rigger and Matrix expansions, the Seattle and Underworld Sourcebooks, and ambitious adventures like Harlequin, Universal Brotherhood, and Super Tuesday! Developed by the early SR line editors Tom Dowd and Mike Mulvihill, the product line in this period showcased much of the best work of prolific designer Nigel Findley (1959-95), who wrote or contributed to 17 Shadowrun RPG supplements and wrote four SR novels.

This all-new Shadowrun 1E/2E Megabundle included more than three dozen titles from the dawn of the Sixth World for an unbeatable bargain price. There were thirteen complete Shadowrun First Edition titles in our 1E Collection (retail value $98) as DRM-free .PDF ebooks, including the Shadowrun First Edition core rulebook and these 1E supplements, sourcebooks, and adventures:

Those who paid more than the threshold (average) price also got our entire 2E Collection with twenty-four Shadowrun Second Edition titles worth an additional $186, including the Shadowrun Second Edition core rulebook and these 2E ebooks:

These early Shadowrun titles from 1989-1997 are .PDF image scans of the original hardcopies. Text is sometimes fuzzy but always readable. OCR has been applied to all titles except the Seattle Sourcebook and Underworld Sourcebook.

All these titles are currently available on DriveThruRPG except The Grimoire and the Shadowrun Second Edition core rulebook.

Ten percent of each payment (after gateway fees) went to this Shadowrun Megabundle’s designated charity, the Diana Jones Award Emerging Designer Program. Each year, the Diana Jones Award for Excellence in Gaming, a 501(c)3 nonprofit, amplifies the voices of up-and-coming game designers by featuring them during an expenses-paid visit to Gen Con. The global Emerging Designer Program focuses on creators from marginalized communities.
