In March 2023 we presented the Heroic Maps Future Bundle featuring full-color digital battlemaps from Heroic Maps for any tabletop SFRPG. Since 2013 Joseph and Sarah Bilton have produced battlemaps and tiles featuring castles and villages, dungeons and crypts, starships and space stations. Funded by a strong Patreon campaign, Heroic Maps has published hundreds of unique landscapes, starscapes, and deck plans. We presented a wide-ranging sample of fantasy worlds (including nine layers of Hell) in the June 2022 Heroic Maps Bundle. This new offer heads to the stars with science-fictional settings including spacecraft and space station deck plans, an asteroid base for smugglers, and lots of planetside structures.
Print these gorgeous .PDF battle sites for your game table, or import the .JPG images into your favorite virtual tabletop (VTT) like Roll20, Foundry VTT, or Fantasy Grounds. Each map has grid and no-grid versions, and each image is provided in both low- and high-resolution quality. (“High quality” = a total of 23 gigabytes of battlemaps – the largest Bundle of Holding filesize ever!)
There were ten complete map sets in our Space Collection (retail value $71.50) as DRM-free .PDFs and .JPGs:
- Five space station sets: Lithilus Station Shipyard, Orbital Station Scova 4 (normal operations) and Red Alert (after a devastating attack), Docking Bay 1V-1E, and Smuggler Asteroid Base
- Four spaceships of various sizes: The Crow’s Nest, Greywing, Old Scoter, and HLS Vincula Prison Ship
- The enigmatic Locus Alien Megastructure
Those who paid more than the threshold (average) price also got our entire Planetside Collection with fifteen more map sets worth an additional $111.50:
- Nine scenes suited for any desert planet, including five large areas in that wretched hive of scum and villainy, Eyno Bleside – Cantina, Docking Bay, Colony Market, Housing District, and Military Compound J-22b – as well as Parsgritt Sandsea Docks, the Sector K-6 Supply Depot, the Streets of Enna Shallu, and Arung Ry Outpost: Cantina
- Interesting sites to see and possibly blow up: Cadus Zone Scrapyard, Caldera Power Station, the abandoned colony Elvie’s Hope (inspired by Hadley’s Hope in Aliens), various Landing Platforms, a Mountain Landing Pad, and the ominous Petraluna Corp Prison Mine
Ten percent of each payment (after gateway fees) went to this Heroic Maps Future offer’s pandemic-related charity, Direct Relief. Direct Relief sends protective gear and critical care medications to health workers, with emergency deliveries to medical facilities across the US and to regional response agencies across the world.
