• Pinnacle Entertainment is updating Deadlands: The Weird West for the new Adventure Edition of Savage Worlds. Here’s an RPG.net forum discussion thread about SWADE Deadlands.
  • Burning Wheel is funding (rather, has already way heavily funded) Torchbearer Second Edition. The game is now a two-book set: The Dungeoneer’s Handbook and The Scholar’s Guide. New additions include the thief and shaman character classes, the Troll Changeling, new conflicts (Banish, Abjure, Bind, Battle), new settlements, lots of gear, base camps, travel rules, and “economic rules so you can crash the economy of your town.” And Torchbearer 2E also has an RPG.net forum thread.
  • Gallant Knight Games gets a strong response for its newest installment in the Tiny D6 series, Tiny Taverns.
  • Silver Games, publisher of Ponyfinder (which we presented in July 2018), has a new anthropomorphic project, Tails of the City.
  • Craig Campell (Murders & Acquisitions in the November 2018 Indie Cornucopia 7) has a new expansion for his Capers superhero RPG, Capers Offworld.
  • A few new projects deserve greater explanation. We presented Jason Morningstar’s Durance in the first Indie Cornucopia (Nov 2013). Now German designer Carsten Damm is funding a translation of Durance.
  • Samjoko Publishing is working on a new sequel to the Worlds in Peril superhero RPG Powered by the Apocalypse. Galaxies in Peril is subtitled “Superhero Roleplaying Forged in the Dark,” meaning they’re moving to the Blades in the Dark flavor of the Apocalypse Engine. There’s a free introductory comic.
  • Mage: The Ascension fans, Onyx Path launched Mage Technocracy Reloaded Tuesday, 28 April.
  • Lastly, the Bundle of Holding hasn’t yet presented anything from Italian publisher Acheron Books, but even so, just look at Brancalonia: The Spaghetti Fantasy RPG. It’s an “all-Italian” D&D 5E campaign setting, an “anti-heroic, picaresque and roguish” take on medieval Italy. Brancalonia cites influences from The Divine Comedy to Sergio Leone westerns, The Princess Bride to Assassin’s Creed, plus Umberto Eco. New playable races, taken from Italian tradition and folklore, include Malebranches, Marionettes, Morgants, and Sylvans. New subclasses are strongly characteristic of Italian history, tradition and folklore: Benandante, Superstician, Sword-player, Brigand, Miraculist, and Friar. And, oh look, there’s a Brancalonia RPG.net discussion thread!
