In November 2025 we presented the new Ken Writes About Stuff Bundle featuring more than three dozen small supplements from Pelgrane Press in the Ken Writes About Stuff series by master Lovecraftian writer and GUMSHOE guru Kenneth Hite, author of Suppressed Transmissions, Tour de Lovecraft, The Nazi Occult, and tons more.

In each short KWAS treatise, Ken summons encyclopedic knowledge of game design, history, the occult, and all things Mythos to dive deep into a deeply weird topic. Discover hideous creatures and alien artifacts, survive Weird West horror, unearth an occult Nazi bell or the Spear of Destiny, join the men in black or Doctor John Dee, manage the global war against UFOs and aliens, and learn to command the powerful loa of voodoo, the alchemical elements, the human mind, or the hierarchy of Hell itself. Each entry includes statistics or material for popular GUMSHOE system RPGs such as Trail of Cthulhu, Night’s Black Agents, Mutant City Blues, Ashen Stars, and others.

In a 1998 Suppressed Transmissions column Ken coined the term elliptony to encompass his unique scope of inquiry: the byways of history, aliens, the occult, conspiracy theories, New Age pseudoscience, Fortean phenomena, and general weirdness. This new Ken Writes About Stuff Bundle offered 39 elliptonic installments of Mythos creatures, weird historical episodes, esoteric ephmera, unspeakable cults, campaign frames, and lots of Moon Dust Men for an unbeatable bargain price. There were three compendia in our Ken’s Stuff collection (retail value $75) as DRM-free ebooks in .PDF, ePub, and Kindle (.mobi) formats:

Twenty-four of these 39 short works had already appeared in one or another of six previous Bundle of Holding offers, and all of Volume 1 was in the October 2019 Cities of Cthulhu Bundle. Fifteen of these installments (total retail value $45) were new to the Bundle of Holding.
