Everspark and More

In July 2026 we presented the all-new Everspark and More Bundle featuring Everspark, Load the Simulation, Nexalis, and other indie RPGs by designer Cezar Capacle. In the past five years, this prolific Brazilian creator (now based in Portugal) has published more than 40 games in many genres and formats, ranging from games you play while you’re asleep to tender games about saying goodbye, to a tower defense game where you’re a cow defending your farm from a zombie attack. (And he contributed Not a Demon to our October 2023 Novel Writing Game Tools 2023.)

Cezar’s recent standout game, Everspark, is an easy-to-learn, zero-preparation, fast-moving fantasy game that says YES where your current rules say NO. Playing alone or in a co-op group, you can finally realize the hopes of your earliest gaming days, when the rulebook cover promised epic quests, inventive action, and badass action.
